Biography

Performing for more than thirty years as both a solo entertainer and in bands, Al plays in many contemporary styles including jazz, r&b, latin, pop, ethnic, country and bluegrass. He has performed for many types of functions in many venues, including:
Weddings
Corporate Social Functions
Private Home Parties
Theme Parks
Concerts
Nightclubs
Resort Hotels
Born to a professional musician father, Al began his music training at six years old and became a professional himself at age 20. He performed in the New York Metropolitan Area for many years and also toured the east coast of America playing in resort hotels during that time period. He later moved to Los Angeles, California where, in addition to his live performing, he played on numerous recording sessions, including sessions for rock and roll legend Delaney Bramlett. Al played on Bramlett’s final album.
Hired by Disney Entertainment, Al went to Japan in 2001 where he sang and played accordion for sixteen months
at theTokyo DisneySea theme park, performing more than two thousand shows at the park during that time
period. After the DisneySea engagement, Al stayed in Japan and worked as a pianist and vocalist in and around Tokyo at some of Japan’s finest hotels, restaurants and clubs several years, returning to the US in early 2008.
Since then he spent 10 plus years in and around Wilmington, North Carolina, performing with many of the fine musicians in that area and has now settled in the New Orleans area of Louisiana. Currently, Al is splitting his time between restoring a house, recording his original songs and repairing accordions. He expects to be getting out and performing in and around New Orleans soon.
